Privacy Policy
VividSea is built privacy-first. The short version: your photos never leave your device, and we don't track you across the web. The long version is below.
1. What we don't do
- We do not upload, store, or have any access to your photos.
- We do not run advertising or share data with ad networks.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not collect analytics about how you use the app.
2. What we collect
On-device only
Your edits and recent history are stored locally on your iPhone. They are included in your iCloud backup if you have one enabled. That's between you and Apple; we never see it.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple and validated through RevenueCat, a third-party that turns Apple receipts into a Pro entitlement flag. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase receipt. They never receive your name, address, payment details, or any photo content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
3. Email and support
If you write us at support@vividsea.app, we keep the message thread for as long as needed to help you, then archive it. We don't add you to any mailing list.
4. Children
VividSea is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
5. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)
Because we don't operate a server holding your data, there's very little for us to delete on request. If you've contacted us, we'll happily delete the support thread on request. Email privacy@vividsea.app.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and surface a notice in the app on next launch.
